Winter Husky kennel visit and dog cuddling, Levi

Our destination is a small family-owned husky kennel, located about 30 min drive from Levi center. There are over 42 dogs in the kennel, including Siberian and Arctic-Alaskan huskies and 3 reindeer dogs, living a happy and healthy life. On your visit you are guaranteed to spend quality time with dogs. There is an area in the kennel where dogs can run free. You are welcome to visit there and cuddle and pet the dogs and take photos with them. We will also walk around the kennel to meet the other dogs. Our guide will talk about huskies’ life and history.

Then we invite you inside our cozy hut (kota) to warm up around the open fire, having hot berry juice with cookies. The host will talk about life with the dogs and answer questions.

Kennel owners are energetic professional sport dog mushers. They have well-trained Arctic-Alaskan huskies. This breed was created by crossbreeding in the beginning of 20th century in Alaska, especially for dog racing during the Gold rush period.
