Build your own snow igloo with Snowshoeing

You will start by getting dressed in a thermal suit, safari boots and waterproof mittens. We will transport you to the site in the arctic nature, which can be either on the bank of the river or on the frozen lake.

Have you ever wondered how to survive in a snowy wilderness with hardly any equipment and make a shelter to overnight in during a snowstorm? We are offering you these new skills through the unforgettable experience of building a real snow igloo, as a team! You will have a professional outdoor guide to arctic wilderness. Our program requires normal physical condition, moderate resistance to the cold, and ability to handle a snow shovel. The program can be offered in nearly any winter weather conditions.

The building spots are in the beautiful Lappish nature. Some of the snow igloos built on this program contribute to our Snow Igloo Park visited by many tourists in Levi. The builders’ names and home country can be marked on the outpost sign next to the igloo. The guide will make an outdoor fire and serve warm drinks and some snacks.

If you wish, you can try snowshoeing around the building area on your own. The guide will give you advice on where to go.
